This year we had our annual camping trip at Skamokawa Vista Park in Washington state, along the Columbia River west of Kelso. As always there was great food and good fun with friends. But, the weather was not with us. It started raining just after we went to bed on Friday night and may still be raining today. Every once in a while the rain would let up, but the sky remained gray. The soggy ground was not camper friendly this time and I learned about sleeping in a wet tent!
But I did get a chance to try out my new Nikon D7000 and the 70-200 2.8 Nikon lens that I finally bought myself. Here are the images from this weekend. The last photo is of a glass sculpture in Tacoma, WA where we stopped on the way back to SeaTac Airport.
